Unicorn Motor Developments are leaders in software tuning for the VW Audi Group MQB platform.  Our in house developed software has consistently performed at the highest level on cars ranging from completely stock hardware to various large turbo setups.  1000's of hours have gone into producing the base software calibration, and these are then fine tuned to each individual vehicle either in our 4wd Dyno Cell or for our Canadian and US friends, remotely through the Cobb Accessport.  Software features include:

• Throttle mapping - increased throttle response and removal of dead zone at the start of pedal travel
• Standard Eco mode - Eco mode will retain the standard software's power and economy.
• Hi and Low power options switchable between Sport and Normal modes - The Normal and Race/Sport modes can be used to  switch between power levels.
• Switchable Impulse mode.  Option of switching on impulse mode (pops and crackles) when in Race/Sport Mode.  This is fully temperature controlled to protect the catalyst and other engine components.  Options are available for the level of aggressiveness, duration of activation and conditions of activation such as minimum RPM.
• Torque Curve Optimisation - the torque curve can be tuned to the customer and vehicle requirements - for example, a gradual build up of torque suitable for standard manual clutches, and different torque levels in different gears to optimise traction.
